I've heard that there is a certain midfielder, banished to train with the under 18's at Wolves, who might be available, though he seems to have a habit of upsetting people at his previous clubs.

Go ooooooon???? Which?

Personally I'd sell our whole team, bring him in and play the kids around him.
Macca was the reason Ched had the season he did, Sharp would get 30 next season with McDonald behind him.

Shame he left us in the circumstance that he did, but there was no doubting his ability, and I am surprised Wolves have seen fit to dump him, appeared to be popular with their fans. Would certainly stand out amongst the dross we currently employ, and yeah you are right about Billy. Can see Ched also being able to feed off him, when he returns;)

Look, he pissed us off because he left for a club in the same division. It doesn't seem that bad of a career move for him in hindsight now though.
It probably was about money too but Wolves obviously sold the club and their ambitious to him really well.
I remember when we got him that he had a bit of a fall out with the management at Burnley, so he's obviously a bit of a twat- but that twat is my favorite player since Paul Devlin and I would take him back in a heartbeat.

I saw this earlier and had the exact same thought, might fancy a move back up North and out of Brumland

Looks like Rangers is a likely destination now Liam, plus it would take a bid of £1m plus. Seems like a lot of Wolves fans are not happy with the way Jackett has treated him, one or two knocking his recent performances but on the whole seems well liked down there.

Rangers will probably be a good move for him, might try and push himself into the Scotland Squad playing in the SPL

Wouldn't got that far. Williamson, Lowton, Quinn and Cresswell were also all significant factors in Ched's goalscoring. That said, McDonald would be most welcome here but the reality is, he will get a championship club on significantly more than we could offer him. In fact, he's much more likely to sign for the pigs than us.

If we were ever going to spend what we spent on Brayford on one single player, it should've been a player like McDonald.

He'll probably out last Jackett at Wolves anyway, and even if he doesn't half the Championship would be in for him and maybe some in the PL as well as Rangers.
