Heading down to this one from Aberdeen as my first away game was just wondering what the chances are of the tickets going down to general sale? Seen that our allocation is 2,500 are we likely to sell that out?

The way we're playing now and considering KMac will probably score a hat trick against us, I reckon the ticket office will read this post and be in touch!

;)

Don't worry, you won't be alone. I'm going too but I think there'll be some leg-room in the rows in front of us.

I can't see us selling out, probably around 1832 going, give or take 5.

Hopefully we have a decent striker in by then aswell because I was never convinced with Taylor when I seen him play up here. Scored a load of goals but the standard in our division 1 is absolutely awful.

Could you bring some more players from Falkirk down with you? They are all doing great.

I had this one earmarked at the start of the season, but I am going to play golf a Thorpeness instead.

I won't be going to Wolves. I'm sure it's calmed down a bit now, but after the whole "Wolves attacking United's disabled supporters with not a copper to be seen anywhere" debacle of a few years ago, the stewards appeared to get it into their heads that the problem in fact, was with Sheffield United fans.

It's the only place Foxy has been searched to the extent that when the steward fondled his jeans in a search and asked "what's that?" he was required to answer "my cock". And one of the few places where the stewards have been so antagonistic during the game that I could've quite happily clocked one in the face.

Again, hope it's changed now for those excited about going but on previous visits, friendly and welcoming waterholes were as common as rocking horse shit. We've always been in a Scream pub previously that was shit and aimed at students, but appeared to let us in (no shirts and a mixed-sex group). However, the Football Ground Guide says that the majority of pubs are now "home fans only" and bouncers have a habit of checking match tickets now to make sure you are who you say you are.

So lack of pubs coupled + seemingly apparent expectation of bother from the stewards = I'm out.

Have your first 'like' McSir and welcome to the forum. :)

Don't think you'll have any trouble getting tickets for this one. They'll probably lower the loyalty points system to answering 'Yes' to the question "Have you ever heard of Sheffield United..?"

We are going to this one, on the last two visits we've parked in an enclosed area near a railway line and had a few tinnies from the boot rather that brave the local pubs. My mate is going to try and fix us up with a permit to park in ASDA (he works for them) then we'll try and get in and out as fast as possible.

Another aberdeen blade? Thought it was just me haha! Aye that's direct from aberdeen. Departs 8:50 on Saturday returns 11:20 on Sunday.
