Does that mean we are in a position to say no to any offers for our players such as Maguire/Long if we get any and say we won't sell for less than £Xmillion pounds, you know something over the top... like other clubs do, Blackburn about Rhodes, Bradford about Wells, or will we still have take £500k and a mars bar for either?

No, selling Long and Maguire allows us to align our strategic goals... or somesuch shite

If you listen to McCabe's interview that is more or less what he said: we can hang on to our decent youngsters.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating ........

If the manager wants to sell them I think they will still be sold.

What McCabe etc say: "We need to restructure our revenue streams so our EBITDA approaches double digit growth in Q3 and Q4. If we can achieve this strategic manouvering then this new revenue can be channelled into on pitch enhancements. By doing this we have the capital available to move in an upward direction to the upper echalons of the footballing pyramid.

What McCabe etc mean: "You braindead idiots still listen to what I say and believe me? Mwahaaa haaa haaaaaa."
