Have it on good authority that Tufty has asked his best mate to be his chief scout.

What’s happened to Paul Mitchell then?

What’s his track record to justify holding such a position?

Well we've had a newsagent as our chief scout, it's only logical that the next step is to appoint an estate agent.

He actually asked Wit to get him a chefs suit for a fancy dress party.

Has anyone seen one of these purchased by anyone this side of 1985?

It's a rhetorical question because guess what............. my in-laws, the ones that I mentioned elsewhere still rent their TV bought one of these last year. When I asked what it did I was told that it warms up the water for a cup of tea. I inquired as to why they need this in addition to a kettle (surprisingly they have an electric kettle, not one of those metal cooker top ones) and didn't really get an answer.

It's nearly as useless as this thing that my wife convinced me we "needed" when the kids were tiny:

They were probably stunned by your lack of knowledge! ;)
A properly set up Teasmaid provides a jug of tea ready to pour straight into a cup for drinking at the time the alarm sounds.
None of the annoyance of having to wait for a kettle to boil, then pouring hot water into a cup and then waiting for tea to brew.
A triumph of science :):):):)

Groundbreaking stuff......

That will be too complicated for them to setup properly.

I trust Old Half knows more about football than he does about current affairs and the English Language. Brooke’s money? Dear oh dear. Stick to Monopoly and Subbuteo, Half.
