Got dragged into a battle in the second half, Wilder changing Duffy for Lundstram and billy for brooks really helped shore things up/ take some pressure off. I imagine we'll have a few bruises tomorrow

Today our defence and keeper stood up to be counted. It's usually about the three amigos in midfield but the whole back six were outstanding.

Yeah, wasn't exactly a great performance by us. On the other hand, Wilder's tried out some of the squad, rested a few players, and after we went a goal up it didn't ever look like Bolton were capable of scoring. I really hate watching us sit and invite pressure, fortunately Bolton never accepted the invitation.

Good habit to have .. we got nothing out of both trips there last season , when we deserved more in 1st game against them last season so that shows how we're progressing . I wouldn't have dreamt we'd win 5 of our first 7 , still got my feet on the floor but enjoying the ride

I thought apart from a spell late on when they threw everything at us and we got drawn into silly fouls giving them set piece opportunities we looked very good, player changes same style of playing.

Great management from Wilder to make 4 changes to a winning side and come away with 3 points. I thought CCV might play due to his size but to replace both wing backs was a shock. Be interesting to see what the starting 11 is at the weekend.

That is their only tactic. We havn't really got the players to play hoof it football, so the ball kept coming back.

The best thing is that we seem to have got the hang of defending a lead. Brentford, Sunderland and tonight 1 goal lead at end successfully held.
Something that has carried on from last season
