I wouldn’t expect to sign any foreigners playing abroad. I reckon we will sign mostly British players with one or two foreigners already playing in the UK.

I wouldn’t mind trying to pickup Aaron mooy and pascal gross (if Brighton get relegated) I think they would both add good depth to our midfield.

Ampadu from Chelsea, blagging another season from Man United for Henderson, Harry Wilson from Liverpool, Eddie Nkieth from Arsenal and promising Man City Foden will play 38 games if fit would be a decent starting point...

Any foreign player we're interested in will have to complete this before we'll sign them.

Wilder has only bought British + Irish up until now because they are the only ones he could do the required diligence on given the resources at his disposal. Any decent foreign players proven in the championship/Premiership have been out of our reach.

Should we go up players like Maupay and Jota become realistic targets given our new found cash and status. We’d also be in a better position to gamble on players.

In short there is no specific project to build a British side, it’s just the circumstances we find ourselves in.
