Why?

We knew last season would be difficult. Nearly every player we brought in hadn't played in the Championship before and some not even played in England before. Our squad wasn't big enough either.

If anything most of my fellow supporters are too confident. This is easily the best squad we have had this century. Goals won't be a problem. We could do with bringing in a couple more defenders though.

Another problem could be the transfer window is still open for a few weeks. I'm sure we will lose at least 1 of our best players but as long as it isn't too late we will have time to replace. And nobody will be let go cheaply. Last year we sold 2 players in their last year for 35m. In years gone by we would have been happy to receive 5m.

No I didn’t, also how can I be a WUM? If I say we’re gonna win I’m on the wind up but if I say we’re shit I also get called a wum, it’s called being objective so it is. And objectively I think we’ll roll through Preston no problem.

I think there are a lot of people over-rating Preston who are - as it stands - one of the poorest teams in the league. The one trick up their sleeve is being quite good defensively. But they still only managed 3 clean sheets at home last season and their final position only looked okay cos they won a mad amount of games in a row at start of the season. After that, they were pretty bad.
