i did it to see if any body really tho we had a slim chance of staying up

I refused to believe that we would be promoted until it was mathematically impossible to be caught.

Similarly I refuse to believe that we will be relegated until we can not get the points.

Actually if it takes relegation to get the right structure in the club, i.e. board level (that's where I believe many of the problems stem from), then it might be better for the long term.

I've heard this said quite a few times and can't really see the logic. We aren't seen as a fashionable club, otherwise we'd have been bought when we were in a better position than we are now. McCabe was willing to listen to offers, but obviously none of any substance came, he lost interest and that's why we're where we are now, in the shit.

A poor 3rd division outfit isn't going to attract big bucks, and with a dwindling support we'll be even less of a viable proposition. Far better to scrape out of the bottom 3 and then let the revolution come. Relegation would be a disaster, no matter how you try to flower it up.

No argument over it being a disaster. Should it happen though it will be a result of some poor decisions having been taken.

Who allowed those decisions to be taken?

What do all the directors actually do? How many understand football? Why was it allowed that there was a need for 4 managers within the first half of the season?

As far as I'm concerned, the buck rests there. 4 managers in a row can't all be wrong.

I agree wholeheartedy BB, we're a rudderless ship and have been for a while now. Scary thing for me is the similarities between us and the Scum. They had a series of decent managers who couldn't do a thing because the club was rotten, it was obvious that with the fan base they had, and the fact that they were (and still are) the media darlings, they should have done a lot better. I used to laugh about that, I used to laugh at a club that purports to be big but that is actually rotten behind the scenes and is run like an amateur outfit. Not laughing any more because that's us now. Robson wasn't as bad as some made out, neither was Blackwell and hand on heart I don't think Adams is all that bad a bloke. No, the blame lies somewhere higher than that, it lies in the way the club is managed and is run. There's something seriously amiss because we're in the shit but what do we hear from the club? Fuck all! They don't care, or they aren't aware just how shit we are and how much it's going to cost when we go down.

Saw a documentary about World War One called "Lions led by donkeys" once, if you get the chance watch it, very moving and very true. Why do I get the feeling that the supporters at the Lane are the lions in this scenario?

At last a realist and I'm the Grumpy fucker around here!!!

Makes perfect sense for someone with £50M invested to fuck off.

I'm off to bed now and tomorrow I'm off to The Lane to enjoy myself. If your struggling have about 5/6 pints, before the game, we're good then!!

0-4 might take the edge off things but there is always another game to win until it's all all over.
