Will we go defensive at Millwall?

I know it goes against Wilder's nature, but I suspect that we might play more defensively at Millwall next week.
A couple of dodgy-ish games (by our standards) and with Millwall always up for a battle it's time for a solid performance.
The only time Wilder really went defensive last season was at Bristol Rovers, which was sandwiched between some really big games. That is our only 0-0 under Wilder and Im predicting the same result next week.

Seriously doubt it. If anything, we might be more gung-ho

I’m not sure whether to go defensive by curling up into a foetal ball or go on the attack with a series of kindney targeted windmills at this stage.

Not defensive but more organised. I think we need to revert back to what we did earlier this season and several times last season... become hard to beat again

Away is different as team go at you more, means that our counter attack is a big threat

By some distance we were better than Millwall last season and we've improved out of sight since then. There is no freakin way we should be defensive...

They’ve recruited well this summer. Really rate George Saville - think he’d be an excellent signing in centre midfield for us but would be £3m at least and not sure he’d fancy leaving the big smoke. Jed Wallace is a good player as well.

We might only play one up front, but in some ways that's less defensive as Sharp tackles back more than Brooks. O'Connell not pushing forwards as often is possible, but that's not being defensive, just less gung-ho.

It's more likely that Millwall will go defensive against us.

Just smash it and go all out. More brooks game time and chuck carruthers in with some pace. Utb

Not the Wilder way

We need to recover our control of games (winning) and not concede.

3-5-2 for me - just like the pigs - not defensive, just slightly more cautious with the intention of not conceding and winning a game of football.

Give Billy a rest and play Brooks up top with Clarke.

Millwall are more of a surprise this season than us - they are no mugs and have been unlucky numerous times this seasons with playing well and not winning. We probably need to give them more respect than any other game to press.

UTB

Wilder will have done his homework on millwall. They look a very physical side just like last season. Wilder will pick a squad able to deal with that. I've a bad feeling we may end up with some minor injuries after this game. Utb

no

We need to endeavour to stick it in one end and keep it out the other. They'll put a lot of pressure on us but that's fine, pressure makes diamonds.

Millwall were arguably the worst team that I saw at the Lane last season. Obviously they must have something about them, but I’d be disappointed if we changed our game plan for this game. I know we’ve conceded 6 in our past two games, but I’m not convinced that’s a reflection of how we line up; it’s more a case of individual defensive errors. If Baldock’s back then there’s even less of a need for changing the team mentality.
