Plenty of rumours about our players leaving, but i haven't heard that we are after anyone?. I read just over a month ago we were recruiting in January however so far its only really one in, Seip on loan. Cressy has signed was already here.
Is this usual united bullshit or are we just staying quiet.

Killa staying removes any funding for new players. I'd like to see Toni Kallio back on loan.

I've got an idea. Don't bother reading and replying to any of my posts and that will save us from the tedium of the 'non-discussion' that follows...

I have to say that I find your posts particualrly tedious Duncan. You either spend your time away with the fairies in Sheffield united dream land or shooting people down who don't have the same opinion as you. You might not agree with anything Micalijo says, but he always puts his arguments down in a constructive manner. Micalijo could actually be blowing hot air, but at least he refrains from making personal insults and just simply stating that posts are boring. The false positivity of your posts often makes me laugh. I will shoot you down for this (as i would expect you to do me) but I won't make personal insults or state that you bore me. Telling someone not to bother reading you replies or posts is just childish. Not only that but it shows an insecurity in your opinion as you can't deal with someone who has an opinion to you. If you don't like people having a differing opinion to you why don't you set up a forum yourself? You could invite other 'clappers' to join you on 'Red and White Spectacles' and talk about King Kevin and the rosy goings on at BDTBL!?

If all you do is attack the "clappers" with negativity and turning all threads to Blackie/McCabe out. Both clappers and wrist slashers need to find some middle ground. While most clappers seem to admit we aren't in the position to spend millions the slashers don't seem to accept that since our injuries have improved so have our results and league placings.

I think all fans would also accept that performances haven't been consistently good.

Very true Bob. I am not picking on Dunc because he is a 'clapper' or because he is positive, it's more about him being insultive and personally rather than arguing the toss. The same goes for someone who is negative. If they state their opinion and can't be bothered to defend it because they don't like them then I'd say the same thing. If Micalijo stated his opinion then told someone who replied not to bother reading his posts because he didn't agree with his opinion then I'd say exactly the same thing to him.

If we are going to sign players solely on the grounds that they have played well for us in the past, then let's get some boots on TC. He's only 60, and he's at least as good as Tonge now.

Two nights ago I genuinely had a dream that he played for us again, came on as a sub and scored a 20 yarder with the outside of his right boot which bent away in to the top right hand corner. As he blew kisses into the crowd I got actual full on goose-pimples which woke me up.

I'm too young to have ever seen him play but I'd like to thank the dream fairies for bringing me that one - I nearly cried. 100% true.

In fairness Duncs did post something interesting once when challenged to do so on why he thought KB was a good manager and why he thought the club was doing well. Quite obviously it was nonsense as far as I'm concerned but it was a good post. Not that on a forum the quality of posts should matter. Good ones start a debate. Bad ones are ignored, hopefully without snide comments - which I suppose we all can be guilty of at times.

Good, I'm pleased. Now you know how I feel reading yours and your chums. Micajilio has said that he disagrees with 99% of what I write. Thats fine. I dont suppose we are ever going to go on holiday together, or be best mates. He has his view of the club, which I am happy for him to hold, and I have mine. Nothing insulting about that...
