Got me thinking. We love a reunion. Is there anyone out there that we could bring back? Could get the fans on side.

If he's true to his words and doesn't put square pegs in round holes then the main positions he needs to strengthen are the wings, if he is going to play wingers, right back and a centre back replacement for Robinson. If he goes back to Hull for players then it'll be for these positions.

Central midfield could be a whole new problem. We have Souza, Davies, Arblaster, Peck, Hamer and O'Hare. Most managers like two players for each position. We are over stacked in that position. At least one might need to go, maybe two to balance the squad.

Lots of Hull fans on X fearing he will go for Charlie Hughes.
Just seen he got their goal of the season against the pigs, and i don't remember it at all. Very good prospect though, I'd be allover that.

I'm sure I saw somewhere that he rated Joe Gelhardt quite highly, he's been highly linked with Wrexham and Birmingham though.

Charlie Hughes would be a huge statement of intent from the board. I personally think it's unlikely due to cost, but it would be a very positive start.

Charlie Hughes and Ashley Phillips would be a very strong pairing. Move Anel to RB if he stays to solve that issue and move JLT as far down the pecking order as possible.

Team full of Charlie's.
And Doyle’s hopefully. Charlie Hughes, Charlie Savage, Callum Doyle and Tommy Doyle and I think you’d have a very strong argument to say we had a team that could not only compete for the title but maybe compete in the prem. Add a few exciting wingers in there as well and we’d be cooking with gas.

We need to move Anel on this Summer.

Final year of his contract, and very unlikely we can match his demands with only one year left of parachute money.

It'd be nice to bring in a permanent replacement. Our only other contracted CB is Robinson, and I can't imagine any new manager fancying him at first choice (Wilder's biggest mistake).

Moving Anel to right back wouldn’t solve any “issue” , merely perpetuate it.
Flog him to fund a ‘proper’ (defensive) right back to complement Seriki
