FFS another Leon basher who uses any match that doesn’t end in victory to scapegoat him.
He wasn’t the problem today. We played a flat midfield 3 and it’s glaringly obvious it doesn’t suit our system. Wilder changed it on 54 min and we looked better for it.
The strikers worked their balls off but we created very little for them.
Coutts isn’t fully up to speed yet IMO and Freeman is lacking in form at present. That’s two players I have more concerns with

I've said before, I think he chooses Clarke because he's really the only traditional centre-forward type player we have. Big, strong and good in the air (at least that's the theory anyhow). That gives us something different, especially when we are up against big central defenders. Although I have to say, Dawson had him in his pocket all afternoon on saturday.

Both Clarke and sharp fed off scraps had absolutely no service. The only obsession is fans like you who blame at every opportunity.

Come on certain players are in the "You can never slag off category" and then there are the "Players that will always be slagged off category".

Wilder picks the team he thinks will perform the best. The fact that Clarke plays a lot is because Wilder thinks he offers more than the alternatives having seen them play, studied the stats and watched them in training every day
