I thought this was going to be what CW would put in Room 101; pigs, Farke, whinging Oxford fans.

Incredible and terrifying in equal measure. His stats and style WILL NOT be going unnoticed. Give him the keys to city, pay him enough to buy out McCabe and hope that he can be a Managing Director and Manager of England all at the same time :)

Unbelievably, that works out at roughly 2.14 point per game (98 for a season.) This is not as good as 100 points from a 46 game season last year, where his ratio works out at 2.17.

At least we haven't given anyone a headstart this season ;)

I've said this before, but I would love if we could ever get a (fire-safe) Kop size banner of the CW pic in the OP in red and white. Would get the senses tingling.

Would only be good enough for third place last season.

Clearly not good enough - wilder out!
Would give us automatic this season no
one going to run away with it this season
we definitely are in the mix in my opinion.
January could be really important to push us on.,and by that I don't mean spending a fortune, just sensible strengthening as Wilder has done from day 1.
He's Dave Bassett mk 2 but playing quality football, could he upsurp what Bassett did ?
It wouldnt surprise me,his man management is brilliant

All we can do is enjoy the ride! See where wilder takes us.

If we are being honest there are some big squads and expensive talent in this league and that may tell over the course of a 46 game season - and I still feel top half finish would be a great season.

But to be doing this well and playing through a massive injury crisis - is all testament to wilder and the squad and the way we play. Momentum is with us and BUILDING - we can strengthen in January and look to kick on - players would be jumping at the chance to sign you'd think

Our trajectory right now is fascinating. We are currently still at 2 pts per game, which is promotion form as it stands.

Still early in the season so really shouldn't read too much into it, but we have played a few sides who expect to be up there come may. Take away the fact it was wednesday (difficult i know), but we just smashed a top 6 side from last year away from home with some of our top players out. That's like going to Reading or Fulham and doing the same, a result we'd be mightily impressed by.

If we can keep hold of our best players and get the injured ones back fit who knows where we could end up. The truth is we could drop 10 places from where we are now and it would still have been a good season.
