To be fair, the chap who got hit is, I’d estimate, in his 70s. He didn’t see it coming and it smacked him full in the face while he was looking at his phone, sending his specs flying down the stand. He looked dazed for some minutes afterward.

There will be an overreaction to this, for sure. But “so what” is a pretty dodgy take in its own right.
