Anything interesting?

Not much news as such SB, but here are a few bits summarised.

Players and staff aren't too down about Wednesday's game, a few players not at their best but overall doesn't agree that we didn't deserve something. Concedes he may have made too many changes.

Feels a goal for Leon is around the corner, but agrees it's a concern that he hasn't yet scored.

Surprised by Preston's start, a decent team with an experienced manager. Will be a tough game.

When asked about Preston being a bit of a bogie team...doesn't buy into that notion. 'Just glad we aren't playing Walsall' :D

Many thanks Stretch, much appreciated.

1 - Frustrated about Wednesday night.
2 - Disagrees that we didn't deserve anything.
3 - Happy with our performances so far.
4 - Sometimes you need some magic in a game.
5 - Looking at Brum and Bristol, both have big / expensive players.
6 - Sure we can get back to how we want to play on Saturday.
7 - Making changes again for Saturday.
8 - If we don't experiment we'll never find the best team.
9 - Using players who've not played much (Washington / Clarke / Johnson etc.)
10 - Learnt from too many changes, want's to be consistent but know he has to tweak the team and system for different teams.
11 - Happy there's now flexibility in the team / competition for places.
12 - Know this best 11 based on current form but not afraid to change it.

First seven minutes. Lunch break is over now!

Have you always need to be registered to listen to the interviews? I’m sure that’s just a recent thing they have added.

It's a recent thing. Need to register and log into the Beeb now to listen/view any online content.

Of course, this is all for our convenience, to enhance and personalise our experience, and not at all an opportunity for them to farm user data

All it does to me is make me swear when I have been logged out and forgotten my password. Thankfully Chrome keeps me logged in most of the time.

13. Lundstram is the best midfielder in the squad

14 - re Leon, yes it's a concern when centre forwards aren't scoring
15 - Preston not one of the big hitters in the division this season
16 - it's a tighter division this year, can't see someone running away with it
17 - re 100 games in charge - 1st wasn't a classic and the 100th wasn't either
