Both very good players, but wait for some dick to come on here with the lazy, tired old bullshit about it being a farmer’s league.

The overall standard of SPL is not as high as the Championship but there are still plenty players in there who could be successful at Championship level, just as EFL1,2 and even National league can step up.
Conversely Trusty has looked unimpressive for Celtic.
There are also plenty of Premiership players who will be ineffective at Championship level.
Suppose it's all about 'pashun'.
Think Shankland and Devlin would be good for us but don't think we'll be signing them.

I think top end of the SPL is a good market for cheap players, certainly a market we will be interested in. Even CL doesn't keep players playing in Scotland, a lot of players have ambitions of playing in England and its seen as a good next career move.

Not only that but Scotland teams in the CL are usually the whipping boys.

No he isn’t. He has some good mates who are Hearts who often came down and visited our games over the years so I’d guess he’s had a bank holiday weekend in Edinburgh with his mates and took in the game.
