Just to prove that in football, however bad things get, there’s always someone worse off ...
Wigan, FA Cup winners seven years ago, beaten 2-0 at home in FA Cup round one today by Chorley, from just up the road, of the National League North.
Awwwwwwww ...

Nothing to do with Blades, but amazing match from Chorley.

You got the score wrong. They were 2-0 up and lost 3-2.

Fuck em. They dint make any friends buying their way up the league and are now going back to their natural level.

Us of a certain age & remember Wigan as a non-league club are probably thinking they're back at the level they belong.

The biggest crime is they are another poxy side to win a major trophy. If Wigan never reach the heights again, their club/fans will remember winning the Cup.

You have to be 100+ to vaguely remember Blades success. Or 95+ to remember a cup final appearance.
Clubs that have exceeded our success include: Wimbledon, Luton, Oxford, Portsmouth, Bradford, Coventry, Swansea, Hull, Huddersfield, Blackpool, etc etc etc

I'd love to leave this world having seen a trophy or even a final.
