Even some of the Hartlepool players thought they had conceded a 2nd goal and were arguing on whose fault it was

Cheers BertBert was inline with the incident. He was offside.
I thought he was offside, but prior to today's game I thought we were a half decent third division side, shows what I know.
how come their player who headbutted the other one didn't get sent off
Coz the pratt in yellow didn't have a clue how to get a grip on such players.....only need to look at the complete mess in the last 10mins for proof. This is one of my chief motives for wanting out of this league, not that officials higher are guaranteed to be much betterhow come their player who headbutted the other one didn't get sent off
Talking about prats in yellow. How come the 'Pool goalie was allowed to wear exactly the same strip as the officials.Coz the pratt in yellow didn't have a clue how to get a grip on such players.....only need to look at the complete mess in the last 10mins for proof. Sadly seems to be even further evidence of the inanity of said 'officials'...I said that before kick off, seems very strange given that the two keepers aren't allowed to wear the same colour just in case one happens to go up for a corner towards the end of a game.
TV evidence would suggest that Bert was mistaken.Bert was inline with the incident. He was offside.
Must be said, I'm in the South Stand A block and was quite 'in line' too and I didn't think it was offside at all - glad the evidence appears to offer some evidence of such, but it's water under the bridge now, anywayJust seen the "goal" on the highlights, never been offside in a million years. Plus there was a handball in the build up that we should have had a pen for.
The million dollar Q: why are there SO many of them???....a good goal disallowed by the incompetent linesman.

Kitson was offside a moment before and I had already seen the flag go up well before Ryan put it away
I was the only one not on my feet, naturally!
Whenever a ball comes forward like that I always look instinctively over to the Linesman, it inordinately annoys me when everyone leaps around celebrating when the flag has been up for a few seconds. If the flag is late, fair enough but when it's up before the shot is even taken? No excuse.

Kitson would only have been offside if he had received the ball without it hitting the defender. Once the ball hit the defender he was the last person deemed to play the ball. Hence the reason Mike Dean overruled the lino when Evans scored the OG against Newcastle.A shot came in and hit a 'pools defender - Kitson was well offside. The ball then went to Flynn who put it in the net. The flag went up for the Kitson offside not for FLynn being offside IMHO
