Just wondering, what did you aim to achieve by last night's post? It's one thing leaking the team sheet or breaking good news, it's another creating a shit storm when everything is going so well. If your post is accurate, it will all come out anyway, so all that you've done is stir up trouble to enhance your ITK credentials. Genuine Blade - doesn't feel like it.
 



Maybe he thinks Billy deserves a payrise?

especially as he hasn't elaborated what the issue is
 
It's only creating a shit storm amongst people on here and Pinchy achieves that on a daily basis....what difference is Sunjihi post going to make to whether Billy Sharp signs a contract or not, unless you think he will look on here first before making his mind up?

These posts are what forums were invited for....just because Sun has a bit of an ITK record doesn't mean he shouldn't post.....if you want wannebe ITKers then may I point you in the way of maxstertheblade or JL94x4 who's constant posts of regurgitated bollocks will keep you amused for hours.
 
It's not like he/she pops up then sticks around replying to everyone to lap up praise. I think we're all wise enough to take what Sunjihi says with a pinch, not because they're a bullshitter, but because all ITK stuff is basically rumour until proven otherwise.

If something is amiss at the club (allegedly), I'd rather know than not. It's also encouraged other posters to pipe up with other snippets they've heard which, unfortunately, appear to corroborate what Sunjihi has said. Again, all rumour for now.

For what it's worth, I don't think it's a shitstorm. As I posted on the other thread, I'm almost always waiting for something crap to surface and prove that nothing has actually changed, because it's understandably easy to be pessimistic about United. But if there's anything in what has been said, it's certainly a major concern and questions need to be asked.

Nothing to do with trying to influence Billy, everything to do with the unnecessary shit storms that it creates amongst forum members. Call me naive but I thought that the forum was a place to share views and our passion for the team, not somewhere to drop bombs that drive rationale members away and give the Wendy fans something to laughs their trotters off at.

It's to discuss all matters affecting our club, whether they are true, half-true or complete crap makes little difference, you read it and if you have an opinion you comment, if you don't you read the next thread. Quite simple these forums.....

On this point however, although I have no problem whatsoever with Sunjihi posting what he has, I suspect Foxy comment in the shoutbox calling him "naughty" has added a bit more fuel to the fire!
 
Don't shoot the messenger here . Sundayhi is only making public what a lot of us know already .

500k extra wages this year compared to last season is frankly disgraceful .

I don't believe that for a second. That extra 500k would have already been swallowed up by even the smallest promotion wage increases.

How many on the transfer list right now ?

No more players in for nearly a month .

No players out and no more new players in isn't pure coincidence .

Done, Wilson and Hussey. Hardly high earners?

Four new signings and wage increases for everybody would outweigh Scougall and McNulty being released along with the 3 above players leaving.

Then factor in that we'll be making a minimum of 4 more signings and the wage increase should comfortably surpass 500k.

Unless we go and do something clever like sell Fleck, at least.

Ive read on here that players had promotion increases built into their contracts. So that £500k has to cover those, PLUS the wages for new signings. Really? I'd think the signings we've already made would swallow up a lot of that regardless of anything else.

Whoever makes this shit up needs to buy a calculator.

But as Ricky says, more than £500k will already have been spent. So why is CW still talking about signing players when he knows there is no money? Is he a club patsy again today?

Maybe the£500k is just what Billy wants?

Plus bids in for two players ( by CW's own admission)

It might be correct that the wage budget has only gone up £500k . However it will be anticipated that the transfer listed players will be sold and we have released Scougall and McNulty. If we assume Brayford is on £10k per week and the other 5 an average of £3k per week that totals £1.2 million in wages.. So with the extra £500k I assume that will mean an extra £1.7 mill of last season's budget at least. Not great but not as bad as what is being made out

We also don't have to pay out a chunk of money paying off dean fucking hammond or Adkins this time round.

That must have put at £500k onto last seasons expenses (at a minimum)
