I am assuming that it is because the pigs are at home to Wigan on Tuesday.

Surely we should have precedence over that lot as for over 100 plus years they chose to have their midweek fixtures on a Wednesday. Indeed their formation was based on playing on that day (the original club and not the 1990 version)

Also being the lower league club and having a significantly lower home attendance would make it easier for people to change their plans.

Probably as all the champ games are on sky although there are some on Tuesday as well.

I remember in the 90s when Wednesday got all billy big b***ocks (I know what's the difference there), they decided they were changing their midweek games to always be on a W*****day as befitted a 'proper' Premier League team. Ten/fifteen years later they decided they wanted to go back to Tuesday's and we at best now have to take it in turns with them.

Does it matter, 5 days from Friday is a good rest, then we get 2 days before Saturday, I know what you're on about, but it's swings and roundabouts and if I can have 5 days rest before we play West brom I'd take that over hudds... We need to be at the races every game, but I think WBA will be harder than hudds..

No disrespect to hudds because they're very good as well, but potato head will have an impact at WBA so that's the 3 points to be fresh for..

UEFA has a rule against two clubs within ten km of each other playing home matches on the same day. Not sure if that applies to non-European fixtures or whether it's SYP's doing, because I recall us playing at home the same time as the grunters several times in the last few years.

That is definitely just a European rule. If not, good luck scheduling in London

Bastard Wednesday
Fucking sorted a business meeting in the North East a few weeks back, thinking the game was scheduled for the Tuesday, didn't I.
Can't change it so will miss this one

Huddersfield also play on Wednesday, so no advantage for them

Yeah, we knew we'd get a fixture pile up, we know it doesn't pay to play with a straight bat thses days, London scrubbers always cheat. Qpr..
