I suspect they have taken a lead from the Football League show where that Lizzy What'sherface reads out all those inane texts and emails from supporters to pad out the programme. Sky Plus makes that element more bearable of course - as well as missing those gems of wisdom form Steve Clarridge (at least he has stopped rocking backwards and forwards like some demented chimp in a zoo).

Could be a way of adding some levity into the Football Heaven (or Football Purgatory as I like to call it) which, to be fair, is a wrist slasher at the best of times. Having said that – it’s a fair reflection of South Yorkshire football in general (Donny apart). We are all shit.

It was Sophie Mei, Belly Dancer from Britains got Talent. Shes a lovely girl. Didnt hear the show so i cant comment on how she came accross, shes just started at Radio Sheffield doing lots of different things. Shes not Thick at all, maybe just was nervous??

I can't see a lot of demand for a Belly Dancer on Radio Sheffield -always thought Seth Bennett could do that with his attributes!
She certainly didn't have an impressive debut - struggled to put a sentence together!
But then again most of the callers are the same!

Just listened to it... Yeah not a great debut, I would put it down to nerves, shes very natural when shes interviewed on the radio and its not scripted, i guess its totally different when you have to read something out for the first time.
