4 of these 7 look to be in competition for league 2

Notts County, Stevenage, Crewe and Tranmere. Very bad goal diff, shipping too many goals.

Gillingham will be down there. Stevenage are dog shit, Crewe can't stop conceding and Notts don't seem to be able to get anything going.

Although we are steadily improving, I will not be relaxed with our League position until it is mathematically impossible for us to go down!

Crewe, Notts C, Tranmere, Stevenage for the drop.

half the season 23 games ie 69 points left to play for , on 25 points now 48 to 51 more points should make the last play off spot , gets just a bit more interesting each week, if Orient can throw a run together,,,,,

Would be nice to reach 6th but unless we really strengthen in JTW I can't see it happening. Whilst Weir was still here I'd have settled just for staying put in this league and really his tenure has wasted too much time and too many points. Think finishing top half now and greatly improving the goals for column would be my realistic target and would encourage me that we are building a side capable of challenging for automatic next season.

thats the safe option , but its not unheard of to come good late on , with some canny dealing could push on and give it a good go , might fall short but no harm in trying , not daft enough to think its easy , but it is possible

I agree there have been sides that have made a late run from seemingly nowhere and then won the play offs. But then even if we got there, we don't really do play-offs do we? :( Never mind I'll still keep the faith brother :)

No chance of making the play offs, Weir made sure of that with the pathetic displays of non attacking football in the first 10 games.

Top half is a more realistic ambition for us.

One thing that i have picked up on is how many poor teams there are in this division. Really puts how poor we was earlier in the season under Weir in to sharp perspective

Tranmere reminded me of us under Weir. A lot of players running around without any serious effort, threat or idea of their duty. I don't want to be too critical of us, but we really opened them up when a slightly improved Oldham side kept us quiet.
