While Scholes and Henry going back to Manure and arse, who would you love to see back in a blades shirt?? Only players that are still playing they can be ex loan or blades legends whatever you think. Who at this moment in time would we benefit from the most. These poles are doing the rounds i see the stir has one but thought i'd change this to players still playing.

I will go with Michael Brown.

For the first time in a while last night our midfield popped up with some goals and 1 a centre mid it has been very rare. We need more goals from midfield and the old Michael Brown would get that.

Kyle Walker. Failing that Jags. Blades have helped produce a couple of England Internationals. Just a shame we had to offload them along the way.

Well, migrant workers do tend to go where the work is...

On the subject, Kazim-Richards.

Jags, Walker, Naughton are no brainers.

Brown? Not anymore. Kenny? Probably.

Cotterill, Britton are another 2 i'd like to see under a descent manager

Matty Phillips as well as Jags and Walker would be my top picks. The three would be fit the bill of the players most say are required from the squad strengthening thread (another CM as well though but brownie is well past his use by date).

Also I would have Billy Clarke and of course Billy Sharp (to see what he could do in a decent team set-up)
Greg Halford would be another one I would take a look at and Paddy is still an excellent keeper.

You saw them play under a descent manager - Adams helped us descend a whole division!

Edit: That would have been funnier if it had been accurate. Whoops.

Kenny
Walker Cahill Jagielka Naughton
Phillips Brown Tonge Reid
Kazim-Richards Davies
Sub:- Bennett, Bardsley, Dellas, Halford, Mcleod, Henderson, Sharp

If we had Paddy Kenny from the start of the season we would be at least 6 points clear now.
Cotterill is available on a free ,he would link brilliantly with Evans or Beattie aand get supply from Macdonald.

When I was in Kavos on an 18-30's holiday back in 1999 I pulled a bird from Blackburn on my first night. She was 19, I was 22. She was a dead ringer for Carmen Electra when I pulled her

For those that don't know Kavos, its a long road with loads of bars and Apartments/ Hotels at either end (with some shitty ones in the middle between the bars)

Took her back to my apartment and gave her the best time she'll ever have, then kicked her out in the morning, so I could get a little bit of kip and I could let my mate back into the room (I let him sleep on the lilo on the balcony) to tend to his mozzy bites :)

Anyway long story short, because I'd pulled her in a bar at night, the only gear that she had to do the walk of shame in was a very small bikini top, High heels and an extremely short set of hotpants.

So, I did what any Blade would do... gave her the option of walking back to her hotel at the other end of the town in her get up from last night... Or she could walk back in a Blades shirt...

She chose the Blades shirt.

The best part about it was that rather than give her MY Blades shirt, I gave her my mates brand new Yellow/Black Away shirt (the one we wore v Arsenal when the game got called off). It was already worn anyway as I got her to put it on during the evening/ early morning events and to be fair I wasn't about to lose my shirt in case I never saw her again.

Turned out I saw her the next night and I got the shirt back, but I wasn't to know that on the first night.
She didn't quite look like Carmen Electra in the morning, but she a pretty good substitute

So she's who i'd like to see back in a Blades shirt :)

If you go on rumours, how much would that back four cost!

Walker (roma) 20 million
Naughton (Norwich) ?
Cahill (Chelsea) 10 Million
Jagielka (Arsenal) 20 Million

40 Million + Kin el.

What did we get for jags and the Kyles? 15 Million?

There was an article in the Guardian asking each Prem club's fans this exact question. Swansea City's answer, I kid you not.... James Thomas.

Eek!

Hang on a minute, why would she have looked out of place wandering round a trashy resort in the morning which just a bikini top on. Presumably there were ladies on the beach with even less than that on their torsos :-)

It was the previous nights top :)

Attention to detail Darren - as a solicitor you must appreciate that?
It was not his shirt.

Great story Swiss - cheers. Almos tas good a Sean the Blade's stories

Jesus, that wouldn't be half bad. Think Davies is a bit tenuous tbh

That midfield would lay on a sackful of chances. Pity the front 2 wouldn't put them away though.

Nowt would get past that defence though!

How would anyone know that after a quick rinse under the shower? Blimey, you were not thinking stright giving away your UNited shirt like that...

It's not for me to question the logic of a woman. She didn't want to do the walk of shame in her own gear so I insisted on the blades shirt.
