Tom Pope:

Last season scored 31 goals in League Two for Port Vale.

David McGoldrick:

Sign him on Loan: Last season scored 16 goals in 22 games while he was on loan last season at Coventry City.

McGoldrick played today in the Championship, not sure that's feasible.

Yeah I saw he's played every game in the league so far but maybe by January, he'll drop down and maybe we could get him on loan, hilghly doubt that one

Billy McKay 23 goals in the SPL for Inverness and he scored more goals then gary hopper who just signed for a Premier League side Norwich

Richard Foran: A Midfielder who can set up goals and score them.

Sometimes, when I start a new game on Footy Manager, I enter the data editor and create a 17 year old striker with top stats right across the board. I give him a loyalty factor of 20 and put him on a 10 year contract for peanuts.

I suggest we do this.

ok?

sorry to be cynical but every time I see SPL next to a players goals at the moment I cringe. Murphy and Taylor are the main culprits for this.....

Sadly the one at Wolves has brought his goals with him.

Someone like Marlon King up front if we are playing 4 2 3 1

Whats Yakubu doing these days?

Hull are looking to send both Aaron McLean and Matty Fryatt out on loan to Champs clubs. Wouldn't mind one of those if we could pursuade one to drop down to our league

We also need 2 decent attacking full backs to give us an extra dimension imo

Re King, isn't he back in court soon and expected to go down?

Don't know but that's the type of player we need (minus the court cases of course)

The PL clubs have to name their 25 man squads this coming week, so there will be a scramble for any strikers left over.

I guess Weir may have a view on any decent strikers left out of Everton / Man U squads.

I guess we will also make a move for Jake Jervis, no idea how good he is but maybe slightly more ready than Taylor

We need players who can cut it in this division. we have a bit of money now (hopefully) so we should be looking at players who can get us out of this division yet with the ability to step up. We haven't got time for another Scottish project player

Luke Freeman - Stevenage
Callum Wilson - Coventry
Max Clayton - Crewe
Dean Cox - L Orient

Most importantly we need a captain in the centre of the park (and no I won't let it drop)

Max Clayton scored only 4 goals in the league

Callum Wilson, Dean Cox and Luke Freeman are very good shouts

Kenny Miller just signed a new deal with the Whitecaps so will be here until 2014 at the earliest. He's our key player so I wouldn't expect to see him be allowed to leave any time soon. We're having our best season ever and have good playoff chances.

Mmmm, I remember the last duffer we got from the MLS, thanks but no thanks.

Perhaps we can get Lee Hughes as well, then when he gets out Ched can play in the hole.

I said like Marlon King. But for the record I would take Ched back but that's for another thread not this one

No one north of the border please no offence

Firstly I'm talking about SPL not Scottish Championship where Lyle taylor is from. Now you might say but Jamie Murphy's from the SPL well he scored a gaol ratio per game in his whole time in the SPL was 0.19 which is terrible. Now as for Billy Mckay's goal ratio per is 0.65 and just look what Leigh Griffiths has done for Wolves 4 goals in 5 games.
