I know it wasn't anything too complicated, but after Hamer's goal a couple of the players ran straight over to the bench to congratulate someone...and this time it wasn't Alan Knill.
I couldn't see from my seat in the New South Stand. Who was the mystery mastermind?

What’s the deflection got to do with anything? The thread is about a corner routine that has come from the training ground, for some very strange reason you thought this was not about that corner but a normal cross into the box from a corner. You must be literally the only person in the world who didn’t know which corner the OP meant.

You seem very unhappy on our excellent win tonight, chin up eh.

No I was happy with the result I just don't think the corner routine was new or particularly well executed and I can guarantee if we lose the play off final to an identical goal no one on here will be praising the execution of the corner from a coaching / training ground perspective it will be cooper saves that without the deflection all day long

Where’s the praise? Not seen anyone praise it or making out it was anything special, the OP just asked a question who came up with it that’s all. Every knew which corner the OP meant, you didn’t have a clue and even seemed unhappy with the notion we could even have a corner routines then when pointed out which corner it was you start basically slagging it off, sound really gutted.

We just won and you come on and start a thread digging a players earrings out of all things then move onto basically slagging what you deem as shit corners and lucky goals. Chin up eh things will get better for you 👍

Yeah fair enough the op asking who the mastermind behind it was led me to belive that it was praiseworthy, and o hares earrings are hilarious and I stand by that and even the sky presenters mentioned them

Well our Jack told me exactly what was going to happen before the corner was taken. Although that's not strictly true, as he didn't mention a deflection.😄

What was evident is the confidence to employ step overs and dummies on numerous occasions.. There was a real feel of enjoying playing in such an expansive way. We must carry this belief into the final and play with the self belief and sheer love of playing. Play with a smile on our faces..not freeze and finally enjoy a final by playing with freedom and no self doubts

You ok mate? feel like you had a rough night? reach out if you need a hug or something. Otherwise, cheer the fuck up.

The Radar Love (Golden Earring) Thread has been pulled so it seems we are stuck with discussing how shit a corner kick can be that we score from.

What the internet was designed for.

Wilder namechecks Lester and Michael Collins in the post-match interview: (edit: ah, I see Berkshire Blade beat me to it already 😁 )

It ended up in back of the net, surely it can't be executed any better?
