No Sharp or Norwood starting who takes them then? Fleck for me all day long, was very shocked Unhappystram took it. And im on about the 10 players who were on the pitch at that time vs Villa......

Russel Crowe?........

Was saying this earlier. The ones you've mentioned are the only realistic ones.

I personally thought Berge may have trumped him because he scored one against Burnley. Then I would move to Fleck or Lundstram. Burke might be a good taker, but i've never seen him take one. As a striker though, you'd think they want to take pens.

Lundstram since he's thought of as the best penalty taker

I seriously thought Sander would step up while VAR took an age to confirm the Pen.

It is a sad reflection that I would not want any of our strikers to do so 😞.

I still don’t trust our strikers with pens since the pen that Sharp missed before we played the pigs in the ‘Pork the bus episode 1’ that led to McGoldrick taking the penalty that the pork keeper saved.

Given that things may turn out tight this season we've got to pay attention to the small details. If we have to spend 200 hours extra in training to nail penalties then so be it. We messed up a fair few pens in 2006/07 and that cost us so let's make bloody sure the same thing doesn't happen.

Matt Le Tissier always used to aim to go to the keepers left so if he saw the keeper move, he could readjust, twist his body a bit and stick it the other side, did pretty well out of that technique.
If you premeditated going to the other side like Lundstram did, you've got to leather it high or low in the corner to stand a chance because putting it the other side at the last second simply isn't an option.

He was also adept at hitting them high enough to be above the dive of most keepers if they did choose the right way.

had a dream last night, Fleck to score a penalty, first goal v Leeds, lump the fuck on

Ozzy did the best penno out of the lot. Get him on em, jose baxteresque top bins.

I vote Ozzy too. None of this tippy tappy crap. Just put your foot through it and smash it home.

Ozzy will show you the way lads.
