So…. Who would you like to see play alongside Sharp at the weekend?



I’d just about go with Lavery from what we have. Although Brooks impressed more against Leicester, I think Lavery gives us a better shape, pressing from the front etc. and is a more natural fit for the role alongside Sharp. But if it’s not working, we always have Brooks and Evans waiting on the bench.

A quick synopsis of Pinchy's Guide to Blades Strikers:

Evans for me against Derby.

Leon back as soon as possible. A far better player than many on here give him credit for; reasons best known to themselves.

Something not quite right with Lavery right now.

DB ain't a striker. Play him in the Duffy role if he's starting.

Sharp is scoring. If and when he has a barren spell there is no reason to guarantee him a shirt, because his contribution when not scoring isn't enough.

We need to recruit.

Can I just check that the winner of this poll actually gets to start on Saturday? Or is this like one of those 'public consultation' things where the views of the consulted public are listened to and then ignored?

I can't see CW changing to one up, as you say, not great for Sharp so it's got to be Lavery, doing the 'Done' role.
