This isn't a straightforward one. You would have to say Lavery and Evans didn't really do much to push their causes tonight.

Brooks looks lively but could he partner Billy up top?

If Clarke wasn't suspended I think he would have kept the shirt. We look very lightweight up top. Not a great time for him to get suspended!

Lavery. Not Groom's position. However, there's an argument for one upfront with Caruthers deeper and Brookes in a free role.

The new signing CW has lined up hopefully

Tbh, on current showing none of them look ready to partner BS

Brooks is not a striker for me

No Clarke

Lavery and Ched not fit/ready/good enough currently

Lavery. Brooks not a striker and Lavery clearly best option.

Who do you think Keogh and Davies would be more worried about? I would play Brooks just off Sharp in a free role. Duffy just behind. Those 2 would cause all sorts of problems IMHO. LAvery and Evans both did not take their chance. They have to improve massively to be even on the bench as the season progresses what I have seen of them both this season.

Plain and simple we only have one fit, unsuspended championship quality striker at the club and that's Sharp. So we play him upfront and work the best we can with it. Brooks playing off Sharp is our best option with the usual midfield 3 in Duffy, Coutts and Fleck supporting.

Is Hanson fit? I know he is probably on his way but surely he couldn't be as bad as Evans and Lavery tonight?

Its irnoic for all pelters Hanson gets - he at least would have been a nuisance value and an outlet. Tonight the ball just kept coming back time after time. They slowed so slow tonight. Maguire whose pace is not his main attribute was far quicker on and off the ball than our front two.

so ten people have voted for Evans. either Evans and family have ten usernames, ten Derby fans are on this forum, we have a high proportion of dyslexic members or ten hilarious comedians.

Omar Bogle , Mendez-Laing or any of the others who've been mentioned on here but gone elsewhere.

A mixture of tactical genius and music hall comedy on here tonight...

Sharp is lost playing as a lone striker. Understand that, then plan accordingly.
