Watch behind the blades videos and the answer is easyLet the players decide. Who speaks sense, motivates and who do they respect?
Good he is a cluster fuck at the back , not been the same player for last 18mths. Baldock or Basham for meIf you strip Egan of the captaincy there’s no way he will sign a new deal and he effectively is gone for free.
He’s been made captain and he’s Heckys Captain. Got to stick with it.

It dont matter because he is a very poor defender! If you strip Egan of the captaincy there’s no way he will sign a new deal and he effectively is gone for free.

George.Because Egan shouldn’t be
Picard.
I got slaughtered on here after saying this last season vs QPR away where he was dog meat. He’s been lucky that he had JOC next to him and Anel (last years Anel next to him - not this years) to get him out of the shit. He’s crap at defending, isn’t a leader and can’t head any of our fucking corners on target. I’d rather have Bash or Trusty come in for Egan, and move Anel central. As for captain it should’ve always been Baldock, he just gets us and would rip into anyone not pulling their weight. It was the last straw for me when Egan tried to get the Kop going (last season or season before) when he was playing like a fucking donkeyI'd go further, not been great bar the odd game or 2 since JOCs injury.
JOC hid alot of his defensive frailties
Hi Stegosaurus hereIf you strip Egan of the captaincy there’s no way he will sign a new deal and he effectively is gone for free.
Zoom Billy into the dressing room before the West Ham game.Egan was selected for a reason, but whether the people that selected him still believe in that, you'd have to ask them
Egan certainly doesn't look like a leader at the moment, Billy would've been having words yesterday, for sure.
I'd certainly agree that we need Baldock back in the side ASAP, he does give us plenty of aggression that was missing yesterday.
Robinson does seem too quiet, but he leads by smashing example.
McBurnie is a long way off, Hamer seemed more vocal yesterday.
