I couldn't talk.

I hugged the Missis and just held it back otherwise I'd have blubbed like a babby. Enjoy today Blades savour every minute. These are special times. UTB!

No tears just immensely proud of what this team , manager , board and supporters have achieved this season. Sheffield United are back on the footballing map and It feels fantastic. Promotion confirmed now for the title!

And she'll have understood the special moment too Gray.

What a beautiful day eh?

Had to fight hard but I held them back. Surprised I managed to actually. But I couldn't be crying on the pitch!

Relief played a part in it too, that was maybe the overriding emotion for me. I really didn't want to go up on the back of a defeat.

It got to me as I was on the pitch after the beam back. Watching the sheer joy everyone had, kicking a football about, lying on the grass, hugging, taking photos. Little lads swinging their shirts round their heads. Wandering round seeing all the happy faces. One of the most beautiful things I've ever witnessed. Yeah, I welled up. What a wonderful day.

Yes i did, i also got first and second in the Grand National.............. a day never to be forgotten

Bloody Hell.
Wasn't till now but reading other folks emotional thoughts, I may become so.

More than a few have been shed, but I'm gonna fucking cry like a baby when Billy lifts that trophy

To be honest as a non cryer , ever, I'm getting all emotional thinking about that, and my favoured grandchild will be with me

They'll win the division now no danger, it's already won really, it's only the first thing I've seen the Blades win other than the old Fourth division in 1980/1/2 ( not sure which). Silent ?

Yeah i couldn't help it. Even with 10 mins to go & i knew we were promoted with oldham 2 up at fleetwood i had few tears. Then full time whistle after i screamed away 6yrs of my frustration. & relaxed it just unconsciously started but wouldn't bloody stop. :D

Even writing this im on the verge But i think i got away with it with my sunglasses ;)

Yep have to admit when the final whistle went I had a lump in my throat and then getting home and watching the homecoming for the Blades coach with Billy's speech and Wilder I have to admit my eyes have watered !!
