I am taking my car for a service in Halifax next week and taking in the game on Tuesday by design.

Is anybody staying over in Rochdale on Tuesday evening? I would like to have a few beers in the Cemetery Hotel, by all accounts this is a super nice heritage boozer.

I'd rather stop next door to the Horse and Jockey than stay in Rochdale, sorry mate:D

Come on Whiz.

It is easy to stay in, catch blades player, and sup on a few tenants super cans lying on the sofa like a cabbage.

Stick with me fella you know it makes sense.

I'm glad you rate me so highly:D

Must admit, I'm very tempted to have a stopover...

Cross-threading a bit, but over the last 15 or so years I've been on various forums it has been my lot to witness a formidable array of weapons-grade wtfage from the likes of Selby, Yodelmeister, Hitchin/Swiss barmy knife and the never to be forgotten leyenda that is Blade-4-Eva, but H-Man has just knocked it out of the park for me.

*salutes*

Here's a little known fact for you HH. The cemetery across the road from the eponymous pub is the final resting place of Don Estelle, Lofty from It Ain't Half Hot Mum.

So, if you don't get any takers, you could go on a celebrity grave hunt.

That's swung it for me :)

That was actually taken in Shaftesbury, not "up t'nooorth".

Gold Hill, Shaftesbury, Devon - just tried it on Google Street Map - there's a large plastic Hovis loaf at the top of the hill but little to see at the bottom - cos the Google photo van couldn't get up there.
