Who is our most unique player ever?

The most unique player I have seen is Tri Dellas, who looked big and cumbersome and at times you'd wonder how he had made it as a professional. But when he was on top of his game he was some player, powerful skilful and with the hardest shot I have seen.

He’s obviously recognised in the Legends header on this site, but I will not rest till we have him properly celebrated at the ground. My top preference is an oversized statue, but I will settle for the Pukka Pies Fatty Foulkes Corner.

A few names spring to mind: in my era and in my view Vass Borbokis (anyone took a better free kick again and and again and he was more than that too) and also got to mention Glyn Hodges. We didn't have many flair players back then they cost too much and on his day Hodges made anyone and I mean anyone look silly. I always thought it was ironic that he looked a tad like Tony Currie too! He was signed in part by the fans of course!

Got to mention Patrick Suffo too. Loony, unbelievably skilful on his day unplayable but a total nutcase. I was blessed to see all his goals at home, those 5 or 6 goals he scored in those few games were all special and I'd love to see a video of them - I can't find any on the net. I'm referring to the likes of Grimsby at home and Rovrum at home. He also scored a belter against us for Cov.

He came to Sheffield under the UK's Gateway Protection Programme in 2006. Unfortunately, he didn't make it at The Lane. But, he plays professionally for a Lithuanian team. Unique as a resettled refugee. Naturally - Refugees Welcome.....

Always remember him from youth team reports / playing Football Manager, due to his somewhat unique-sounding name. Glad to hear he made it professionally even if not in England
