Blessin number 1 choice for me as we seem to have missed the boat with Will Still. Rosineor and Nancy reasonable shouts as is Selles in view of his data analysis and sports science background. For the club to move forward it needs to be young up and coming coaches to fit into a new model that has a DOF in place imo. The DOF will be the most important appointment of all. Preferably someone experienced in dealing in foreign recruitment markets who can work with a young ambitious coach from overseas.

If we are getting rid of CW then we have an opportunity to really be radical and change the culture for decades - why not ?

Why not appoint the England Ladies team manager ? Foreign , a winner , cool and calm

Terence Trent D’arby ? - I know for a fact he’s artificially intelligent

Nigel Clough ? (Only kidding)

Alan Knill ? - knows the set up

Richard Madely ? - nice hair

Ms Green ? - very assertive

Hope this helps

(I want Chis back 😭😭😭😭😭)

Cooper for me,
Get him in, back him, get us promoted, get him sacked.

It's about time the business side of Sheffield United started acting like a business and not a Blades old boys club.
If we are aiming at being an established PL side, I would say that starts here. no short term plans but a genuine long term plan for growing football success and revenue.

We need a manager who is capable of managing and delivering a mid table PL side. we then need to plan in a couple of waves for a squad who are capable of going up and staying up.

I am not saying we should get him, but when you look at the work Southgate did from U21 and then taking over as England Manager. It didn't result in silverware, but I don't think anyone would argue that he didn't improve England football performance as a whole. Look at our Under21 side now and the amount of talent now being produced through to the England squad.

That takes time and money but that's what I could get behind.

I don't see any of these names listed as being improvements on Wilder, just a different look to the football.

Seriously though I think selles would bring on the younger players, plus he'd probably work better at identifying new talent beyond the league 1/2 pool .
And hopefully has contacts elsewhere
If we do resign brewster it might do him good get him back on track

Only worry with Selles is his track record is pants

No idea what all the options are but I've certainly not seen anyone mentioned who seems to be an upgrade on CW
I suppose it depends on the vision for the longer term and what parts the owners have decided need upgrading to achieve that.

But, as we have agreed, we have no idea who all the candidates are anyway.

Agree with most of that, but long term plan yes, long term contracts no.

Get in a manager with a track record of promotion to do just that, then sack him.
get in a manager with a track record of keeping clubs in the PL on a 1 year with a 'stay up' extention.

stcking with Baldey Blades hasen't worked, if we chop and change for long enough we will find somthing that does work, then its time for the long contracts.

P.S. picked Cooper because i think he's the best on the list, gived a clean sheet I really couldn't make a suggestion. As you say, none better just different.

So Selles wasn’t good enough for Hull City, but he’s good enough for us? Makes no sense to me. I could understand letting Wilder go if there was a replacement ready that was too good to turn down. But Selles to replace Wilder is a backwards move and I can’t understand the logic.
