His 80 yard burst to catch up with Billy Sharp yesterday was astounding, especially given it was in the dying moments of the game.

I'd be very interested to see what programme the fitness coaches set him during pre-season. He is undoubtedly a more explosive player this season.
Not saying much is it ?
Captain blade could catch Billy over 80 yards

He’s got more commitment than any player since Monty. He’s got better fitness than any player since, I dunno, Paul Rogers. But he’s taller, faster, stronger and with multiples of the talent.

His market value is probably a tenth of his value to us. I 💓 Basham.
Bambi 😉

Been watching us 40 odd years. In all that time I still say Mark Duffy has been up there as the player I loved watching the most (behind Alex Sabella though. I was even mesmerised by Sabella’s pre-match warm up with his incredible ball juggling skills).

In the current team would probably say McGoldrick, love his awareness and clever link play.
However the beauty of this team is that EVERY player offers so much and is really valued, never known anything like it.

David McGoldrick. 100%. One of the most enjoyable players I’ve ever seen in a Sheffield United shirt and a joy to watch when he’s in form.

Mousset, McGoldrick or Baldock. Think Mousset, but it changes every week

Very very difficult question. I love an Ollie ping. I love to see a Bash pivot. I love see JOC win headers and get forward. I love to see Enda tekkers. I love to see someone try and fail to get past Boldock. I love to see Egan floor headers. I love to see Deano come on top in a 1 on 1. I love to see Didsy slow it down and bring some class to the table. I love to see Moose's explosiveness and strength as well as his brilliant first touch. I love to see Lunny grasping his opportunity by the balls. I love see Billy Sharp's ruthlessness in front of goal, Blackburn at home last season rings a bell. But I've got to say, I do love it when Fleck drives forward with the ball, always gets me on the edge of my seat.

Such a difficult question, sorry but I just can't pick one player.

Personally, I regard the question as ridiculous. How on earth are we supposed to answer it? I'm not going to say in which year I started watching the Blades because anyone who reads this might then suggest I'm just a senile old twit. In all the years I've supported the Blades I have never enjoyed watching my team more than now and in 1972. My favourite player was TC - no surprises there. I refuse to agonise over which individual player might be my favourite now - this is my favourite team, because it's such a glorious sum of its parts; it's a proper team. Bless 'em all.

What is interesting is that the team is now taking a settled look about it. I suspect that Luke Freeman, given the game time could well become a favourite

Norwood. He is creative and destructive in equal measure. And those skiddy passes when he cuts across the ball just bring joy to my life

Baldock for me, always looks like he is trying to get better and do things better each and every game, so much of his game as changed since we enquired him, the only worry is him and Stevens are going to be very hard to replace if injured or suspended.

I also think Basham is a players player, plays with his heart on his sleeve. We were all concerned as to whether he would manage the step up, he's made himself invaluable.

love them all but has to be Didsy

such a classy, clever footballer who also puts in so much effort also - it showed when he was out for a few games how much we missed him and were very lacklustre going forward

This post has taken me about ten minutes because I get hypnotised by this pass. I would love a compilation of Norwood passes.

They have a word for that on porn sites, it sounds a lot like compilation.

Apparently...

The whole chuffing lot of 'em.

The fact that you always feel that we're in with a shout with this lot on the field.

The fact that we all realise how bloody brilliant they are, how we're sticking two fingers up to the big spenders.

The fact that the rest are now starting to take note.

Although Enda has it all, right now it's gotta be Mousset for the sheer delight factor.

Enda, he really is the best LB in the league. He makes me put my hands on me head every game with some of the flair/ skill he has.
Fleck on his day, like Saturday taking men on dropping the shoulder and just gliding past 3/4 players before picking out a teammate too.

Now he’s started grabbing games by the scruff of the neck again it’s John Fleck. Well, him and the Moose of course. And McGoldrick. Not forgetting Stevens.

Most of them.

Sorry, it’s a cliche but I like watching the team. I’ve seen good individuals before, Deano, Hodges etc, I’ve seen passion and commitment before, I haven’t seen eleven players pass the ball to each other like we do, in the top flight.

Enda for me. Closely followed by Didsy. Two excellent players. What would they cost to replace?

Watching Lowton yesterday puts the value and importance of Stevens and Baldock in sharp focus for any Blades who didn't already know how good these two are.
I'd forgotten Lowton was on the pitch. It's almost impossible to choose. The Moose is becoming a fave. Can't argue with Enda though. That ball, such precision and perfect pace. Treemellyendos:D

Billy, that way I can always get back to my seat after half-time without missing anything.

Enda at the moment, coming to expect at least one nutmeg a game now! To be honest it is pretty difficult to choose because unlike some other teams, we are a proper team rather than relying on one or two top players and a load of gap fillers
