'Clubs look better after 1/2 games, this club has improved, that club has bought x, y & z', & we have played once.

I will repeat once again, personally I think we will struggle in the bottom 6-8 until December, but we will then get it together & probably end up 13th -16th over the season.

I have faith [as you might expect], so cut the doom!

We’re 1-2 players from people thinking this is the best team we’ve ever had. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like we have the budget for those players.

I do think we’ve wasted a big chunk of our budget on Ramsdale. £18.5m for an unproven keeper was massive chunk of our budget gone straight away, if we had Villas money then I’d understand.

Look how much the majority of our competitors keepers cost and it was nowhere near what we’ve paid.

Palace- Signed good young players 6/6 points
Brighton- Look a far better team than last season
Leeds- Look like they will do well

Rest of the league have got way way better teams like spurs/everton/arsenal will be much better this year

Massive couple of weeks if we don’t sign Brewster + another creative forward/midfielder it’s gonna be a long season

You could have held off with that question until after the Villa game at the very least......

Certainly in my life time, this is undoubtedly already the best team we have ever had. 1-2 extra players just makes the gap between this one and the second best even further.

Having said that, I still think we’re lacking up top but that’s obvious, everyone already knows that. Most importantly of all CWAK know it and they know that better than anyone.

The hope with Ramsdale is that he learns and improves with us, I agree the price was a bit steep but if we go for an older option, we run the risk of being in this position every 2 or 3 seasons of having to sign a new keeper. He’s nowhere near his prime yet, he could just turn out to be our shrewdest bit of business yet.

I do apologise to all those who have been offended on this thread for voicing valid concerns that we are standing still whilst our rivals go past us leaving us in a relegation battle

I will now carry on clapping like a seal even though we have the same strikers we ended last season with who everyone could see were nowhere near good enough for the premier league

Did you watch the game? They didn't create a good chance from open play in 90 minutes against 10 men.Would still like to sign an attacker obviously but I guarantee we'll finish above them

I think its too early for panicking, lets be patient, this team has proved their worth time again. If we can stop making defensive errors, I think we'll be fine. I appreciate its not a good start, we're all pissed off, but we're not far off either from a good performance.

Correct there is no need to panic.
But you also need to act rationally , we need strikers we have known that for a while we have seen this issue on the horizon for a while now the issue is staring us slap bang in the face.

We have zero qualiy up front and are resortinfg go get the ball lump it up front to a fast striker(Burke or Moose) we are far far far better than that

But we went down to 10 because they opened us up and our defender panicked. Keeping everyone on the pitch is a skill they had and we didn't.

Tonight was two poor sides but they were better.

I will happily wait till the end of the window however the end of the window will be 5/6 games in.
We have known that we need a striker for a long long time

Instead of signing a top quality striker we have signed berge (a very good player ) £20 million a left back and right back £10/15 million bogle/Lowe

I don’t understand why we are not siging quality forwards
