Coady is a fringe player. Whiteman gets in amongst the critical moments and looks to be involved rather than waits to be involved.

Before Whiteman was picked in midfield by Adkins, he had often played CB for SUFC U23s. He was very much a utility player as he came through the Academy ranks. Very versatile. Good in a number of positions. Don't get me wrong. He also often played midfield for the U23s. And, I think that's his best position. But, that versatility will stand him in good stead as he makes his way in the game. GLTTL
