Isn’t it fair enough to expect a 20 mill striker on 20 grand a week to score from 2 yards?
Just to clarify, mcburnie was excellent in almost every way yesterday and deserved the ovation he got, especially for the assist he got, but still we haven’t seen enough of that in a blades shirt.

I agree 2020 since our 20mill pound striker scored and some thickos wonder why some are on his back. Did these guys give Burke the same blind support as they are giving McBurnie ? I am sure ALL blades fans want him to come good but how much longer do we wait? He has said himself he needs a kick up the arse well if 20 grand a week is not a big enough incentive don't even bother. There were signs there might be some light at the end of the tunnel last week but alas he failed to hit the back of the net yet again. OH well we can't expect to much can we for 20mill and 20 grand a week.

One thing that’s been constant throughout the last 2 seasons plus of poor form from McBurnie is the cheerleading in the local media. You can’t shift these days for articles painting him in a positive light. I don’t recall seeing one that actually makes an attempt to analyse seriously what’s gone wrong when he’s been on the pitch.
