Which way to kick?

Last time against Wigan we kicked towards the Kop first. I wonder if that was our choice?

I think it makes sense. We seem to both score and concede more at the Bramall Lane end. We've conceded a number of late goals at that end. Being quite a first half team, I think our chances improve if we're defending the Kop in the second half. Kicking towards it in the first might also help.

For many many years we’re always preferred to kick towards the Kop second half.

Very much doubt Wilder would want to change this. Assume Wigan must have won the toss and decided to change the normal arrangement in the hope to upset our routine.

My Dad always maintained if United are kicking towards Shoreham Street second half and not losing at half time, they very rarely lose the game.

Maybe less so these days, but there's usually a slope on the pitch to help drainage and at many grounds it was towards the kop. Hillsborough and Newcastle used to have huge differences in height from one end of the pitch to the other.

Kicking downhill always helped, especially up at high storrs haha

I've always put the milk in with the teabag, then add water, then leave to stew for a few minutes. You won't get a better cuppa, trust me.
