Well after our woeful last away league performance and a pretty decent home performance on satur day I'm wondering which " united" will turn up tonight? Peterborough are a decent side, would you take a point now? Thoughts anyone? UTB

I would yeah thought sammon and sharp both looked lively and che obviously

A point would be good. Three would be excellent.
I'd even take a narrow defeat if the performance was good.
Another 4-0 and I'll be doing a Michael Palin and furniture will be damaged.

yeah they did, I'd probably change midfield though I thought we carried Baxter and scougall on sat, must say I like the Look of James Wallace instead of Baxter especially away from home

I would leave Scoogs out personally, much as I like him. Woolford had a good cameo in the last 15 on Saturday or there's JCR. I would also bring in JW for Jose who is carrying a knock, I think.

Anyway this thread has gone off on a random tangent and mi teas ready so until later heres to three points and a great performance UTB FTO

Jose, I want you to know I was only leaving you out because of the knock!

Forgive me. I ❤️ You really.....

Great win tonight which I never really expected but always hoped for and as per opening post let's hope this is the Blades that turn every game this season.

Nigel Adkins' Blades by the sound of it!

I can only assume the previous bloke was telling them not to try and score.

United are back! The real Sheffield United.

Listening on RS was a real pleasure for once. Attacking, passing with purpose and scoring goals. Even more satisfying, you can't help but think that it can only get better.

Who'd have thought Conor Sammon would have had such an impact? Two goals, two assists already. I'm delighted for him. I think we all realised he was a committed, enthusiastic athlete but there's talent there as well.

Great to hear of Jose dominating the midfield, especially in an away game.

Not getting carried away, still a work in progress but I think we're going to enjoy the ride...

Looking forward to hear from the Blades who saw it live.

United Together! Well Done Nigel; Well Done Mighty Blades!

It sounds like a Unted turned up thst we haven't seen for at least a year or 2.

We actually attacked from the first whistle and apart from a dodgy 15 minute spell in the 2nd half
We totally dominated.

Keith Edwards said it if had been a boxing match it would have been stopped early.
It seems we have lots of goals in the team. Hopefully good times ahead.

heh.. and we bought half the derby team to find out that the best one we had to loan.. perhaps Derby feel they owe us one.
