Just watched the match on Sky and VAR could have, no should have, over ruled the no goal decision. This is the first match I've watched where not once did the commentators utter those fear inducing words "VAR is checking for a potential .....". Now not wanting to sound paranoid but there were at least 4 or 5 incidents during the match that would, in previous matches, been subject to VAR scrutiney. Was VAR also suddenly having a technological off day or was the VAR ref at Stockley Park asleep or wasn't it turned on like the goal line technology. All I can say is that if there was going to be a controversial decision on this opening day it was bound to go against us, it's the blades way!!
Sorry if this has been posted before (couldn't find it) but I had to get this off my chest.
