I must apologize to you Ladies and Gentlemen,
I did this post just before leaving for the game and it didn't appear to register, so imagine my horror on returning to find my computer had tried to take over the internet..

Sorry, BD opposite to CE, by that I mean BD is a role model , unles you want your child to grow like CE, I applaud BD for voicing his opinion, I would not want to play with him either, he is now victimised by SUFC and left out of team , DONT insult me by saying I'm a PIG, the PIG will put the number 9 shirt on soon

For two hours and forty nights, I eat chewies but soon I tire of sticky paper. I grow angry so I fire Johnny Seven but grenade it veers to east, knocks Stretch Armstrong out of tree. He lands on Matchbox motorised motorway causing pile-up. I seek forgiveness, so I ride for two days on my BMX in my Spiderman outfit. Oh yes.

Chapter and verse....please supply the quote you're suggesting Davies has made? The exact words please, unless it's more of this tripe you consider important.....or more worrying, true.
 
You sound happy with players 5/10 looser !! Plenty of fans on here not happy with some players performance tonight , check it out, same ones week in week out, don't insult BD he did a lot for us last season, NC brought some in this season and they average 5/10 , short memories or what! !

Are you spouting all of this crap out of your head? Are you drunk? If so, watch out for Ched ;)
 
BD is a total pro. May not be the best in any position, but will always be in the team or on the bench as he can cover almost any position and will do, to the best of his ability and without hesitation.
 
Don't care we're winning!

Davis adds a lot he's great at set-pieces, crossing, corners and generally good with the ball. However I don't think he suites how Clough wants to play so for that reason I think he'll be a utility man and used for certain tactical reasons.
 
I said at the start of the season that Davis looks like a man without a position at times.

He plays well at full back and on the wing...but there are arguably better options for both roles, making him easier to drop.

Clough likes nothing more than chopping and changing so he'll be back soon enough I expect. He'll be a useful "I'll play anywhere" guy when injuries and suspensions take their toll.
 
Can sort of grasp what submarine is trying to get at (I think o_O) but try to type in full sentences & correct grammar instead of drunken rabble and it might make more sense!

Davies should be playing every week for you.
Davies is a steady 7/10 every week unlike some of our players who go from 6/10 to 8/10 depending on what mood their in on a match day (see JCR).
You've heard a rumour that Davies will not play with Ched if he returns to the club as Davies views himself as a professional role model & views Ched as one who is not (this I don't believe however you must have heard it from a source so each to their own on what you choose to believe & not believe).
A manager from a higher division has shown an interest in Davies & you believe Clough should be playing Davies more or you would not blame him for leaving to a club higher up the football pyramid than we currently are.

Think that just about covers it? :D

For what it's worth I rate Davies highly, he was our most consistent performer in the opening games, he'll always give you 100% and will play anywhere for the team which I love in a player. Unfortunately Davies has players ahead of him in his favored position (on the wing) who on paper & on current form offer that bit more in terms of pace & drive.
However I don't think it'll be long before Ben is back in as we a lot of games coming up & as we know our Nige loves a tinker I wouldn't be surprised to see him start fairly soon.

As you say & we all know Davies is a model pro who I don't think will be throwing the dummy out the pram, he'll be working hard, biding his time & happy to be seeing the lads winning & when the opportunity arises he'll be wanting to grabbing with both hands by getting himself back in & amongst the goals as he did at the start of the campaign.

However i Agee with Houso on submarine.Although i am still in nappies with this posting lark , everyone has a point to make.

My own thoughts on BD and Mr Clough are

BD is a model professional , but we have now got to take on board that after the pre season and first 2no games selection cock up , (and Mr Clough strop / to prove a point of principle / authority ) .We are in for a squad rotation system , due to form , injury , suspensions and tactics . With regards BD and his stance on CE . I think Mr Clough will think exactly the same as BD on this matter.
Henry Winter wrote a good article on the Blades . Mr Clough has very high principles and the CE situation has got to be decided by Mr Clough . BD is not being picked due to a CE stance , totally off the mark . There is nothing sinister going on with Mr Clough , although your face does have to fit .It appears only Howard is guaranteed a start on the team sheet ( at this moment) . He will also sign a on loan good strong CF to prove a point to the board . Mr Clough is the boss at the lane . no one else. Its about time we have got someone of his stature , after the crap of Haslam , Peters , Heath , Blackwell and the rest of em

BD is a model pro and Mr Clough likes and respects that.

Anyone know what's happening with Davies. Beginning of the season he was probably the first name on NC's team sheet - now he hasn't featured for weeks apart from 2 League cup games. He was named on the bench until the end of October but since then not even in the squad for JPT disaster. Something feels off about this one to me.
