Keeps scoring ? Please define how many goals is keep scoring ?

5 gold from open play in 25 APPS that’s about 9 a season

you can score a goal every 10 games and still be described as keep scoring

You could say We keep playing in the premier league when it’s twice in the last 15 years 🤷‍♂️
When his career’s over will they chalk all the goals that aren’t from open play off?

I think most Blades if they had to pick who takes a penalty would pick Billy over any other striker we have at the Lane.

It’s a shame warnock sold him to rushden & diamonds he could have been our top scorer ever and spent 15 years here

Warnock sold him to Scunthorpe.

Mcburnie scored more goals in the prem than sharp you fruit cake and does a hell of a lot more all round than sharp

McBurnie scored 7 goals in 59 games, Sharp scored 6 goals in 41 games.

So I think you'll find that Sharp had a better goals per game ratio than McBurnie.

Not just the Championship record holder.
In 2019 Sharp broke the record for the English league goals scored since the turn of the century.

You are of course factually correct. But you are also of course knowingly not providing any context.

McBurnie has scored 7 goals in 3,779 PL career minutes. So 1 every 6 full matches. Plus 2 assists. So a goal contribution every 4 2/3 matches.

Sharp has scored 6 in 1,793 PL career minutes. So 1 every 3 1/3 full matches. Plus 2 assists. So a goal contribution every 2.5 matches.

I'm not sure what point you are trying to prove with your statement.

That he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

3 of those were penalties so that’s 3 goals in 41 and 5 in 25 this season

8 goals in the last 66 games from open play

It’s madness how some people think he is the second coming of Pele

He has missed sitter after sitter and runs like a sloth stuck in quick sand

One good finish won’t change a poor season for me 🤷‍♂️

I cant see your book Billy Sharp, Blades let down, selling many any copies.

Your field may be fallow but your bookcases will be overflowing with unsold copies.
So the only person with a copy of your book will be you.

What's this shite you've come up with about penalties not counting as goals?

Who won Euro 2020 in your head? Are you still waiting for the final to be concluded cos it went to a shootout?

Taking nothing away from Billy, but he's now become the second division's leading scorer since it's second change of name in 2004-5. They aren't counting the 112 years that it wasn't called 'The Championship'. It's a bit crap for those players who have scored more second-tier goals than Billy.
