I was wondering where anyone thinks we'll finish in the table now. Personally, I think we'll see results start to improve in the next few games, have a resurgence in the new year and go on a great run, but ultimately end up just outside the playoffs. Being optimistic (like I know so many people on here like to do ;) ) I can see us finishing in the playoffs though.

I went for Top Half, out of playoffs. It's a good but really hard question though at the moment depending on how we do in the next month. December and the run of games we have now are crucial.

If we do as well as we all know we can do we could very easily remain undefeated until the new year. Given the last month though it doesn't look promising.

Peterborough
Bristol City
Plymouth
Nottm Forest
Crystal Palace
QPR
Leicester City
Preston

Normally you'd look at those fixtures and be looking to get 17 points at least out of a possible 24. The worry is that our recent form makes that unlikely to start with and even if we manage it it's still likely we may not do enough to push ourselves back into promotion contention.

yeah bristol feel the same think we due to get players back and we can go on good run of wining games but thats my heart talking.. we`l just miss out on play off`s

Bottom half if Blacko is in charge; anything is possible if the clown is replaced by a proper manager.

It largely depends whatever happens between now and Christmas - Critical Period
Could see the end of Blackwell if results don't significantly improve, but we never know with McCabe!
I think we will soldier on with Blackwell and his crew and finish an abject 17th /18th in the division.

Looking at those fixtures i really think we should get 10pts from the 4 home games.

Couple of tough away days there in QPR & Bristol C but i think if we get 15 points we've not done badly. QPR are on a roll, Bristol is a tough place to go so any points from them two games is a bonus.

But still think top 6 finish.

Please can someone admit who voted RELEGATION!?? muppet

I think we'll finish around 10th. I hope i'm wrong and it's higher, but 10th seems slightly optimistic at the moment.

Considering the number of negative posters in this forum, the number of votes for a top half finish or above is astounding!

I looked at this the other night, and I thought we'd get around 10 points from these games.

I went for a win against Peterborough at home, defeats to Bristol City, QPR and Leicester, and the others I was 50/50. Favouring draws, but you never know in this league.

maybe the same person as top 2?? i went with top half not playoffs at the moment though we have more chance at relegation than top 2.

Bugger, I wish it'd been me now!

Perhaps you would care to explain why said voter is a muppet.

We are bottom of the "form table", we are 4 points from the relegation zone yet 9 points from the play-offs (thats more than twice as many by the way)and we are struggling with injuries. Why are the people who are predicting a complete turnaround in our fortunes and going for the play-offs, less muppet like than someone who is simply predicting a continuation of current form? Pray tell!

I know some people think we are on the up after getting a draw at Barnsley and that the injury crisis is the thing holding us back BUT we are still in a long winless run and players are always likely to get injured so what if the injury situation actually gets worse rather than better?

I went for a bottom half finish but I'm not about to call the person who went for automatic a muppet!

That depends. If it was Linz, then no. If it was Foxy then yes.:D

T'was neither... Bristol Blade has grasped this poll business where many have failed before him :D

And you know you love the big chunk of man meat that is Foxy, so don't go pretending otherwise ;)

Despite the supposed Blackwell out posters being constantly vilified on this site it appears that only 2% of voters think we will go up automatic (must be on what Paddy had taken) and 15% think we will qualify for the playoffs.
That leaves by my reckoning 82% of posters on here do NOT think we will reach the playoffs this season
After reaching the playoff final last season that must be seen as a huge failure given that according to the chairman we would reprofile to ensure success next season!
Reflects very badly on the management team.
Plea to Mr Blackwell, please resign and let us get in a manager capable of taking us to the next stage!

I cant see Blackwell being sacked. Unless we dont win for another 5 games. Its a possiblity he would resign. But i think we will get a few wins here & there over the next few games & finish 10th.
