Where do we need to improve?

Any of the following, preferably 3 or more:

GK - Joe Lewis
CB - Connor Goldson
RM - Nathan Byrne
CM - Sam Morsy
ST - Tom Bradshaw

With outgoings to make way obviously.

But who's going to make way and how are we going to get them out? The only way I can think of doing it is holding an auction night in Scotland, an evening where the managers of SPL and SPFL clubs can come along and try and grab a McNulty/Higdon/Scougall/Coutts/McFazdean/Alcock/Long for a bargain basement price.

There is no way that any English club is going to part with money for the dross Clough assembled over the last 18 months.

I think Howard is good enough but ideally if a really good keeper could be found, who could steal several points over the course of the season in games where United are under the cosh.

That's the unfortunate challenge we face.

We do not need a new left back...

Harris and McEveley are MORE than good enough for a promotion campaign. Don't forget Freeman can do a very accomplished job there too once Brayford is back.

Areas to strengthen, in order of priority:
1 more new CB to challenge for Collins' spot
1 VERY GOOD winger to replace Murphy
1 GK to challenge Howard
1 creative, attacking central midfielder that can carry the ball forward

Sort another CB agree and get Kennedy back do we then need a GK?
Flynn and Done are your wingers.
Creative attacking midfielder, what's Wallace doing these days?
Get Wallace to do 30 games + and that's another signing we don't need.

We are not far off, just so close it is really frustrating.

For me we need to improve when we don't have the ball. When we have it we are purposeful and usually have an end product. However we look disorganised without it and lack ideas/personnel to get it back.

JMc had a steady game but is nothing more than back up whatever position he plays. A couple of times yesterday Collins got him out of the doo doo.

That means we need at least 1 poss 2 defenders. (CB & FB)

Scougall is not a winger as proved yesterday and Neither is Adams so now we've sold Murphy I think we need a wideman.

Finally please for the love of god a midfielder who knows how to win the ball back.

So 4 players (CB FB MD WG)

I think someone to sit in front of Basham is a priority. Since Baxter came iv been saying he will be a world beater when he shifts that stone he's carrying, since then he's put on another stone. I thought the drug charge would be a wake up call but he still doesn't seem to live the lifestyle. So we need someone to run the game for us in CM first.

Secondly we need a long term CB to replace Collins, I really like Collins, was the last player off the pitch yesterday and you can see his heart is massive, he's just lacking that pace and we have to sit back and invite pressure on.

Full backs I'm happy with Brayford when fit, freeman until then and Harris at LB, Mcevley until then.

My last lad I want to purchase is Dack, his price will go through the roof this season, he's going to be a star

I think the problem is that with the number of injuries we've got we can't afford to let any go, and quite a few of the ones we could let go are injured, so we probably won't be able to shift many out before the window closes.

I think we may send a few out on loan.
