I remember when they lost 1-0 to us when Quinn scored and they were absolutely delighted . No idea how they can claim they are the number one side in Sheffield when they are so happy simply because they don't get hammered. I'd love to know why they are so scared of us. Even I don't think United have ever been a team to fear like they seem to fear us.

They also know that everything they have being saying about us over the last 6/7 years could very seriously come back and bite them on their arses.

For anything to permeate with those cretins you really need a hammer and chisel. Either they are all born stupid (which I doubt) or the constant bullshit that they are told by friends, family and other pigs allows them to develop a special type of stupidity. Either that or every single one of them is on the wind up, but that would assume a basic level of intellect that I don’t think they possess.

Having a sensible conversation with a pig is like having a conversation with my 3 year old daughter when she isn’t interested in listening. I just give up.

I’m just thankful for not having Facebook or twitter as I can imagine it’s full of pigs turning a 0-0 draw against their inferior neighbours into a Herculean accomplishment.

the weird thing is that if they are ever in their ascendancy phase like for the last few years when they have been above us, we’ve all had to basically suck it up and say ‘ok you’re better than us at the moment but we’ll be back’ .. from them we got ‘you’ll never last in this league we’re massive’ etc etc
now we’re doing better than them they just can’t bring themselves to do the dignified thing which is made worse by all their bigging up over the years
they always carry off like this and that my friends is why they are a set of weapons grade c**ts
 
They rely on Tuna man. It’s like now they’ve spent millions and millions on players. The good players are always injured which is why they even went to SWFC. The bigger clubs can get the same quality and not have the injury problems.

Players like Lee / Hutchinson are always injured. Both very good players. But if they weren’t always injured they would be playing for better teams.

To say they had over £25m of players on show on a Friday the only players I can see them getting money for is Wildsmith / Venancio/Joao (has ability just seems to miss something).

For a £25million investment and mega wages I would be wanting a lot more.

They need to make several transfer signings to make there way up to the top 6.

Mind you, he's also in his 60's and has concocted a fake hooligan Past for himself for which they even mock him on PorkTalk.

Yep, this is the biggest frustration with them. We spend five years with our mouths shut taking everything they can throw at us, waiting patiently for our time, and now we clearly have the upper hand this season they just outright deny that it’s happening and carry on bragging about being better. If we win the playoffs and they slip into the bottom three they’d still insist they were better.

I used to think that if they ever went bust I’d miss the rivalry, but they have become such a bore and the incessant nonsense from their fans is so tedious I’ve changed my mind. I despise them more than I ever have and want to see them go under.

Good post, Sheffield football is extremely cyclical and as much as I enjoy rubbing their noses in it when we are better than them, it tends to bite you on the arse when the tables turn.

As you say though we can suck it up and hold our hands up that they are above us on merit etc, they just can't.

The number of times over the last few years I've had pigs telling me how we are being run in the same way they were when they started to be in the financial shit (i.e. high wages, journeymen etc) and we seem to have played our way out of it fairly by selling where necessary and reducing the wage bill to a semi-manageable level. They have just repeated their earlier mistakes on a grander scale and before they've even reached the premier league this time. Gross stupidity on their part but I just sit here and chuckle to myself like Muttley.

Agreed it’s now a club with out a soul.
A few of their players don’t want to play for them any more, Forest fairy and a so called legends son young Hirsty
It seems to happen when you have a foreign ownership in with no local connection.
I’ve come to the opinion it’s just a club full of arseholes

Denying reality sums it up. I work with a Leeds fan and I showed him Owlstalk yesterday after the game. He was genuinely confused. "Are they living in a different universe" was his actual quote.

They are blissfully unaware how ridiculous their reaction to Friday seems to everybody outside their bubble. I realise it's purely relief as they had told themselves they were going to get hammered but the talk of the future and the idea they somehow proved their troubles are over isn't based on any sort of reality.

Bitter about what? What a ridiculous claim to make about a side that's 12 points above you and have just taken 4 points off you. All in their first season back in the Championship.

Let them have their glory - Friday was their Cup Final. In the next month, we've got three far games coming up - Villa, Wolves and Leeds.

Watching that match last night after just four days in charge for the new gaffer and watching what United were like I gotta say that on current form and with that game in mind, that I’m confident United will continue to get poor results whilst we pick up. Pick up? You've just dropped two places down the table to 17th.
