Too pedestrian in midfield IMO.

It was 4-4-2 but it looked a bit like

Guilty as charged. The point I was trying to make, but didn't, was that we could bring in two players with the attributes we're missing and the rest would look a lot better. On paper many are good enough, but as a team unit it doesn't work because we lack players with those key attributes.

Alternatively, we bring in the odd players such as Hammond and Woolford who some think possess skill, and they soon sink down to the same level as the dross surrounding them. Same with Adams. The chance of him progressing at this club is zero.

We played a bit like this against Fleet wood as well. I rarely seen a team set out like this and I'm not sure how it gets the best out of the players we have.
