Seems to be a lot of talk on the board about how diabolical the situation is, along with a liberal amount of the 'clappers' term being bandied about and an accompanying inference that we're allowing ourselves to sleepwalk into oblivion.

As such, I'd like some input from people of that opinion what we, as supporters, can realistically do to encourage positive change. I'm not interested in going over the same arguments and opinions nor am I trying to get a rise, just interested to see what your proposing? BIFA reforming & lobbying for a seat on the board would be one e.g.

Fiery, Alco, Metal, MPPiggo, kev's nuts etc - the floor is yours...

Am inclined to your view, get rid of Wilson, bring in Chris Wilder and a mix of kids with three older hands. Assuming we stay up this year, make this change in the summer. Sadly won't probably make the Championship in time for the 125 year celebrations. But must stop the rot. Currently this is garbage.

Don't understand this obsession with playing kids for the sake of it. I just want players with some ability who will put 100% effort in - I don't care how old they are. The current crop of kids aren't good enough. If we play too many of them we will go down. George Long is proving that throwing youngsters in doesn't always work - he looks way out of his depth.

made a couple of good saves today.. the first goal was a mishit.. the second was kitsons fault and his reaction showed he knew it..
how do you know the current crop of players aren't good enough. wilson never gives them a chance unless he has no other choice. hardly forward thinking management.. whats the problem with long anyway.. is it because williams wasn't playing

Kitson was very sloppy and gave the ball away for the 2nd but it should have been a routine save. Long should have held it but just patted it out straight to piggy Clarke. Long was also at fault for both goals v Yeovil (the 2nd was a joke) and for the goal at Notts Co. I'm not knocking him for the sake of it. I want everyone who plays for us to do well. But he's simply not good enough at the moment. He flaps at crosses and continually puts his kicks out of play. All basic stuff for a keeper. We are a very average team & can't afford to be gifting the opposition soft goals week in, week out.
