Last time I was in the canaries saw this game live over there ,
For first time since then going back end of next month ,
Omens as to this season compared to that one ,
€50 for promotion please paddy power .
Coincidence ?
COYRAWW .

I wasn't and was predicting a relegation dog fight and that is just how it turned out until Clough changed things round.
The second half of the season was great so I don't see any reason why it can't continue of course a new striker or two would be even better.
Err so your prediction turned out wrong then!;)

Gutted as this thread was from the season we got promoted to the PL.

We should be optimistic of getting out of this shithole this time round.

Not at all, you can only predict with what you have at a certain time, as it turned out Weir was even more bobar than I imagined and by the end of September we were looking certainties for relegation. I don't think anyone would have predicted we would appoint Clough and that he would in such a short space of time completely change our fortunes

But relegation dogfights are usually at the season end.... Last half dozen games or so. We were after t'play offs then.

I'm nervously optimistic.

Optimistic because we ended the season well, cloughs doing a great job in his preparations - getting strength in depth. I'm confident that we'll at least get an offer in for Brayford and we will get another striker.

Nervous because, firstly it's united. When things seem too good, they normally are. Plus I still think we need that 20 goal striker. Is McNulty the man? Not sure, he could be.

I suppose there is some arguments from the World Cup that you don't need a no 9 to play well and get goals, but I think getting a big lad who holds the ball well is the reality of league 1. We can't play our cup football every week, we'll need a big man, porter doesn't do this job, so it's back to Baxter unless we get a striker that will send us up as champions

I am not sure what it is about McNuts. I haven't seen much of him, however there is no reason he couldn't have the same impact as Scougs. I think he's going to be the shizzle dizzle.

I'm slightly cautious about him. Scoogs came in with no expectations, but excelled.

McNulty is kind of expected to do well and get goals. We need a striker with goals in him, but also to be that strong all round striker

We don't need a big lad. Scougs and McNuts are going to be our Beardsley and Lineker.

It's pretty sad that anyone under the age of 30 that supports this club has only been able to properly enjoy us getting promoted once in their lifetime.

I'd like to think that's the way we'll play, but I think we need a plan B,C,D and E...

Anyone under three has only seen us play in league one....
