Its in the genes though - his father trailed John McGovern with him from Hartlepool, to Derby, Leeds and Forest, Les Green from Hartlepool to Derby; trainer Jimmy Gordon and John O'Hare, Derby,Leeds and Forest; and Archie Gemmell and Colin Todd, Derby and Forest.
