Will be going to watch brighton at the Amex on Oct 1st to see them vs Wednesday. I wanna wear my blades shirt but not sure if its the right thing to do. I wanna piss the wednesday lot off but at same time dont want to not be let in the ground altogether! Thoughts... (mate is a brighton fan and they are just down road).

I believe the traditional approach in such circumstances is to enter the ground with Blades shirt hidden beneath jacket and then, in the event of Brighton taking the lead, stand up and remove your jacket, whilst carrying out an appropriate 'arms stretched out' gesture in the direction of the Wednesday fans.

This should trigger a suitable level of abuse in response, which I'm guessing is what you're after.

Obviously if Wednesday end up winning, you look a bit stupid, and either way you're in for an afternoon of non-too-complimentary (but difficult to argue with) songs about the quality of your football team....

Yep thought as much. I also thought i could bcome the scapegoat for brighton fans in the near vcinity if things went wednesdays way.

Would be a laugh for 5 mins or so but then has the ability to go wrong on so many levels lol. Not to mention getting chucked out by brighton stewards for wearing wrong colours.

Or you could get your head kicked in after the game.

No you'll be fine, I think you should go for it, YOLO and all that, after all you could be run over by a bus tomorrow, or alternatively an away coach on the 1st October?

Don't forget an inflatable pig.

Plus we'll be top six by then!

I might rent a pepper pig outfit (just to please some...) Just i dont get alot of oppo to support the blades being down here and seeing them get done over by the 'SEA GULLS' would be fookin tremendous. Lookin forward to it tbh and hope that the massive dont travel well. U can bet that if brighton do score i will go mad and my mate will be lookin at me funny!!!!

Not such a southern softy bastard afterall ;-) x

At least you're nearer to Europe than the Blades will ever be! :(

I take it you'll be on the home end?

If so, blades shirt !! Or at least a blades badge

You think Wednesday will win at Brighton?

No, I think they probably won't, but I can't say I'd be shocked if they did, and I feel that - having posed the question - Bognor should be made aware of the potential implications of the advice I offer. Consider it the small print.

I honestly don't know. What is the Etquiette? Is it a small furry animal or maybe a type of hors d'oeuvres?
